Hello lovely readers, and welcome to another issue of Your Herts and Beds Wedding. I hope you’ve started 2022 off with a bang and have already achieved any New Year’s resolutions. For me personally, my goals are to make quality time for loved ones while ensuring I leave enough time for myself – it’s all about finding the perfect balance.
This year will be one of the most exciting wedding seasons so far, with many couples tying the knot, including my close friend who has given me the honour of being a bridesmaid at her wedding – how exciting! The countdown is certainly on, and July couldn’t come around quicker.
If you’re at the start of your planning journey, then you’ve come to the right place because we cover everything from fashion and beauty advice, wedding cakes, venues and more.
Suppliers have been working hard all around the regions to help couples create their dream day. My advice for all nearlyweds would be to start wedding planning early to avoid any disappointment. Book your favourite suppliers first because there’s nothing worse than finding out your dream companies are fully booked.

Manor of Grove Hotel
Within 150 acres of stunning parkland, Manor of Groves Hotel is a Georgian manor house with an 18-hole golf course. The original neo-classical building features many traditional touches, including pillars and tall-glass windows overlooking the stunning gardens. The Manor Suite is a stunning setting for grand weddings and can cater to 400 loved ones, while The Colonnade Suite can host 100. Alternatively, The Library Suite or Drawing Room is ideal for more intimate nuptials. After exchanging vows, wedding breakfasts and receptions can take place in any of the suites.
There are various wedding packages available for couples, which include a menu tasting session before the day and a complimentary stay for couples on their wedding night. An additional wing has been added to the original house to host many bedrooms with traditional-style spaces to match the property – perfect for guests to retreat to after dancing the night away.

Dav Sehra created the company and is an established pattern cutter with more than 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. He decided to create his own business to provide heritage fabrics from English and Italian mills. The company, which specialises in made-to-measure suits, offers a laid-back atmosphere and calming space for grooms to search for the perfect attire. The team works with each client to discuss styling, fabric and cut options while considering their budget – they know how important it is to find the perfect look. A made-to-measure two-piece wedding suit starts from £900, and a tuxedo starts from £975.
