Caroline, Lead Floral Designer at Bloom&Wild predicts what Princess Eugenie's Wedding flowers next week will be.
The Royal Wedding: What can we expect from Princess Eugenie? "Princess Eugenie and her soon-to-be husband, Jack Brooksbank, have reportedly enlisted top-celebrity florist Rob van Helden to take care of their wedding-day blooms. Not a newbie to working with the royals, we think his floral displays will follow the traditional line of white flowers with plush-green foliage, but with some unconventional touches to reflect Eugenie's personality and style.
Here's what we predict will make an appearance:
Myrtle Making an appearance at many royal weddings, myrtle featured in her mother, Sarah Ferguson's bouquet along with Princess Diana's and Meghan Markle's. This tradition was actually started by Queen Victoria as it is commonly known as 'the herb of love' and it has been used ever since.
Lily of the valley Lily of the valley has been a staple for previous royal bouquets, and we'd expect Princess Eugenie's to be no different. Not only is it sweetly scented and oh-so pretty, it's also a symbol of marital happiness.
Creative flair Despite her traditional overtones, Princess Eugenie has never been scared of experimenting with fashion, so we're expecting to see some creative flair within her bouquet. Her mother Sarah's bouquet was traditional in its choice of flowers – containing gardenias, roses, lily of the valley, and the traditional sprig of myrtle – but in a characteristically bold move, it was shaped as an 'S'.
