Victoria and Mark created a relaxed countryside affair at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel.

Victoria Parry, married Mark Pickering, both 28, at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel, on 10th September, 2016.

Here, Victoria tells us more about their big day...

My make-up was a more polished version of my everyday look. I wore curls over to one side with small braids and added spray roses and beaded pins – I loved it.

P for perfect!: Image 2Our niece Hannah was our flowergirl. It was important to us to include her in the day so she has some family history to look back on when she's older.

P for perfect!: Image 2b Mark and his best man Sam each wore a light grey three-piece suit. Mark's peach tie and pocket square complemented the bridesmaids perfectly.

We wanted our bridesmaids to feel comfy yet gorgeous and decided the best way was for them to pick their own dresses, which resulted in an eclectic mix that suited each of their personalities.

P for perfect!: Image 4I saw my dress on Pinterest and loved it so much I found out where my nearest stockist was. The sample in the boutique was too big but I'd visualised how it could look and the seamstress tailored it to fit perfectly.

P for perfect!: Image 4b Our centrepieces were jam jars of varying sizes and placed on log slices, filled with flowers. We sprinkled freeze-dried blue hydrangea petals on the tables.

P for perfect!: Image 5
The Stable at Tewin Bury Farm was an intimate venue in a charming setting. On entering the farm we drove past sheep and over a little river and already we felt excited.

P for perfect!: Image 6We chose a naked cake with bunting to fit in with the relaxed, rural feel of the day. From the tasting we knew it would be amazing – we had pistachio, lemon and lavender, and raspberry and rosewater tiers.

P for perfect!: Image 6b We had garden games, which included our homemade Pickering-Toss game and later on our DJ did a brilliant job of keeping the dancefloor full – apart from when the conga was led outside and around the building!

P for perfect!: Image 7
Our hand-tied posies of soft sherbet colours were loose and relaxed in style and the stems were tied with flowing hand-dyed blue and grey silk ribbons.

P for perfect!: Image 8To fit in with the romantic feel of the day we had six large dreamcatchers dotted around the room.

P for perfect!: Image 8b We placed a wooden wagon wheel in the bar for guests to hang tags on with their well wishes and advice.

P for perfect!: Image 9
I made frames that spelt LOVE and hung them on the walls with lace ribbon.

P for perfect!: Image 10Our laser-cut wooden name places doubled up as wedding favours. By sticking magnetic tape on to the back they became cute keepsake fridge magnets.

P for perfect!: Image 10b Julia our photographer really knows how to capture the beauty and romance of a wedding day. She captured ours perfectly and we have endless memories to look back on.

P for perfect!: Image 11
Our main focus throughout the planning was for the two of us and our guests to have a wonderful time. What stood out was how relaxed and happy everyone was, we all had the best day.
