Find out what wedding jewellery is currently on trend

Wedding jewellery by Gatwards of Hitching

We caught up with Charlotte Gatward at Gatwards of Hitching to find out what accessories would be perfect for finishing off a wedding look. She says, "Pearls have long been associated with bridal jewellery as its lustre will complement any skin tone and look stunning with a traditional ivory wedding gown. Symbolising fertility and love, they've been associated with weddings for thousands of years and many celebrities have been spotted wearing them on the red carpet. Classic single rows, studs and pendants are never out of place and will always look classy, but today's modern designs can make pearls fun and more wearable than ever.

"Yellow gold is definitely on-trend and we just love this pendant and matching earrings from Shaun Leane's Cherry Blossom range, which beautifully encompasses this. Shaun Leane is a very talented British jewellery designer who became famous for his long association with Alexander McQueen.

"Classic with a contemporary edge, his yellow gold vermeil freshwater pearl pendant and earrings offers a harmonious blend of softness and sleek lines, giving a bridal look that's both feminine and chic."

Duncan Fortune, Head of Commercial at Tesco Bank, says: "Wedding season can be a significant expense for households. Planning ahead and setting a dedicated budget for celebrations can help spread the cost over several months, allowing people to make the most of the celebrations while keeping their finances on track."
