Hanako Flowers is moving to Ashridge House in Hertfordshire

The exterior at Ashridge House in Hertfordshire

The much-loved Hanako Flowers is moving to Ashridge House to become the venue’s resident florist.

With more than 700 years of fascinating history, the prestigious property in Hertfordshire offers a sense of royal heritage and a picture-perfect backdrop to events?

Hanako Flowers only opened last year and has already taken the local wedding industry by storm. The new location will provide even more space for the team, who will continue working hard to create luxurious bouquets and arrangements to transform any venue. They’ll also be able to offer even more personal and special services for their popular workshops for birthdays, hen do’s and wedding parties.

“While we have absolutely loved combining hospitality with our floral experiences for the lovely people of Berkhamsted, we’ve been given an amazing opportunity to shift our focus exclusively to floristry. It means we can continue to expand our services to meet the demand of our wonderful customers and clients,” says Haylee Benton, owner of Hanako Flowers.

“We’re always striving to use clever sustainable floral mechanics, innovative products that are biodegradable and recyclable papers, “ says head florist Kate Parrott. She adds, “Through the summer months, we have been focusing on using local flower farms and independent growers to bring authentic British-grown flowers to our arrangements. While we deliver bouquets to your door, we are reducing our own personal carbon footprint by only doing one delivery round a day.”

Legal experts at Richard Nelson LLP are urging Brits to rethink who prenups are really for. While often seen as something reserved for high-profile couples, data suggests they remain largely overlooked in everyday relationships. Just 7 percent of divorced Brits had a prenuptial agreement in place before separating, highlighting a significant gap between perception and reality. Regionally, attitudes vary. Manchester has emerged as the UK's 'prenup capital', with 13 percent of divorced couples having one in place, compared to 8 percent in London and 11 percent in Birmingham. Meanwhile, cities including Liverpool and Southampton reported no uptake among those surveyed.
