Award-winning hairstylist exhibiting at Ascot Racecourse

Our County Wedding Events Signature Wedding Show at Ascot Racecourse on 26th February 2023, gives visitors the much-needed opportunity for finding their big-day suppliers.

Exhibiting at this event, is Alison Rose a hairstylist with a career spanning nearly 20 years. Training at Mulberry's in Beaconsfield as a stylist, she first trained for hair extensions 15 years ago before moving to Kuwait in 2010 to work as a senior stylist for Toni&Guy. Here, Alison trained to become a hair extension educator for the brand Raccoon Hair Extensions.

Starting her own business in 2016, after moving back and successfully managing a salon, the method of hair extensions Alison offers is called mini locks or micro rings.

She adds, "After the initial consultation process and thorough hair assessment, I pick out raw ponytails of hair in the colours and textures needed and hand mix and tip each extension to make a bespoke set of hair perfectly unique to every single client. I only use the finest Russian remy hair, known for its strength and durability. 'The hair can be refitted several times and can be used for around a year and beyond. Some clients using the same set for more than two years.

"This hair extension application technique is free from harsh glues, heat and sewing. The method I use encourages hair growth and will not damage the condition of your natural hair, many clients finding that their own hair grows so well, they no longer have the need to wear hair extensions at all.

"I provide this service all in the comfort of your own home, or at my studio in Woburn, Buckinghamshire."

What's more, in 2022 Alison was awarded Hair Extension Specialist of the Wear at the English Hair & Beauty Awards and has made the final for 2023!
