Something old, something new by Heulwen Lewis Bespoke
Recently, I’ve loved helping a groom who wanted to propose to his fiancée using his mum's wedding ring. Sadly his mum had passed away, so finding a way to make her a part of his big day was an honour.

We decided to melt the gold from her wedding ring for his wedding band and use the stones to make a wedding set for his fiancée. This way, his mum's ring touched both of their hearts. When he proposed, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
I love bringing sentimental pieces back to life by remodelling them. Couples often come to me to create engagement rings using old stones or vintage pieces. Sometimes they ask me to create bespoke wedding rings to complement their remodelled pieces too! I feel fortunate to work with such sentimental treasures and love passing this luck on with my version of 'something old, something new'.
