The perfect wedding venue awaits

Located in Hertfordshire, Woodland Weddings Ltd is the perfect venue located in a beautiful woodland. It provides a space for events with the option of being outdoors or under canvas areas, protecting couples and their guests from bad weather.

The perfect wedding venue awaits: Image 1

Lila's Wood can provide a wedding breakfast set under the tree canopy, the dappling leaf patterns and sunlight illuminate the canvas of the event tents and guests can really unwind. Rustic tables and benches are laid with any theme in mind. Beside the event tent sits a dramatic fairytale wedding mandap, dressed in macramé and festoon lights. From here the wedding band plays whilst guests schmooze.

As night falls the venue comes alive with twinkling fairylights and the crackling of enclosed firepits. The woodland takes on an entirely new magic and can be accompanied by mellow acoustic music, a wedding band or DJ for those night owls. As midnight approaches loved onescan retire to a village of bell tents in the camping paddock. The wood's accessed via an ancient tree tunnel, through a private farm and completely secluded from public footpaths or vantage points. Ceremonies take place under a wedding man-dap or amongst the trees if preferred. Natural benches are laid out to make a central aisle and the area's covered by a huge parachute in the event of bad weather.

Microphones and PA are provided, with the option of using an in-house celebrant for the special day. The company has a large stretch tent, which is suitable for seating up to 130 guests and giant hat tipis for up to 200. There's also a selection of smaller chill-out and bar tents as well as wishing pond, bell tents and a swing. There are no worries when it comes to sourcing toilets as luxury ones themed like shepherds huts are offered. For animal lovers, alpaca walks and petting can be arranged. Nearlyweds will be given a designated coordinator upon booking and honeymoon accommodation is available when the 10 bell tents are rented for some of the guests.
