Situated in 150 acres of stunning parkland, Turvey House is a magnificent Grade I listed county house built-in 1794. As guests enter the long-sweeping driveway, they’ll be blown away by the building and the beautiful gardens. The venue knows that no two weddings are the same, which is why the team is very flexible and allows couples to take over the grounds with few limitations.
With the magnificent house as a backdrop, views of the River Great Ouse, and exclusive use of the saces, couples are sure to create their dream day. Turvey House doesn’t have a ceremony space, but lovebirds can have a celebrant-led wedding anywhere on the grounds and continue the celebrations in a traditional-country marquee, a tipi tent or a stretch marquee.
The beautiful-walled garden is the perfect place for wedding photography as well as the terrace at the front of the house, which offers uninterrupted views. Nestled in the magical woodlands, the beautiful River Cottage is new from 2021, and includes three bedrooms, a sitting room with a wood burner and fully-refurbished spaces.
