Live ‘la vie en rose’ at Sopwell House as the luxury Georgian hotel unveils the new Rosé Summer Terrace. The charming patio is adorned with abundant blooms on the stunning grounds overlooking the gardens. It offers a menu of still and sparkling rosés and cocktails in every hue of pink, from the palest blush to cerise, 
alongside seasonal British dishes. 

Let the rosé flow with still choices such as Chapel Down English Rosé with pure strawberry aromas and Estandon Coteaux Varois en Provence Rosé, while sparkling varieties include Balfour Rose Brut and Laurent Perrier Cuvée Rosé Champagne. Cocktail lovers can enjoy pink creations like the limited-edition Lanique Spritz, created in partnership with the rose petal liqueur and topped with prosecco and soda alongside classics like Cosmopolitan and Kir Royale. 

Pair pink drinks with an indulgent choice of plates from land and sea with starters of Charred English Asparagus with truffle-infused Burford egg remoulade, rocket, aged parmesan and balsamic, plus Torched Mackerel Fillet with pickled cucumber, spring beetroot, horseradish cream, shallots and Onuga caviar. From searching for the perfect engagement ring to browsing wedding venues and proposal ideas, Brits are increasingly turning to Google when preparing to take the next step in their relationships. But new research has revealed that some UK cities are considerably more marriage-minded online than others. Manchester has emerged as the UK city with the highest level of marriage-related search interest relative to its population, according to research from Agilis. The city records an estimated 1,540.7 searches per 100,000 residents across terms relating to engagement rings, proposals, wedding planning, marriage advice and civil partnerships. Plymouth comes in second, with 1,435.6 searches per 100,000 residents, while Leeds takes third place with 1,343.9. Newcastle upon Tyne, Glasgow and Birmingham also feature strongly, with each recording more than 1,300 searches per 100,000 people.
